My FAVOURITE little moment to happen on the Newsies stage…

Tommy boy: Elmer… remember when we discussed that thing called Boundaries…?!

Elmer: 😬

Gotta love an overexcited Elmer throwing himself into Tommy Boys arms at the prospect of making the front page… first time I saw this moment I was sat directly in front of the pair front Brooklyn and they held this position for SO long - way longer than they ever did again - the moment had well and truly passed before they eventually parted ways looking a little sheepish and avoiding each other… it’s a moment that puts a smile on my face every time I think about it and will stay with me forever… I love it so much!

Okay so!!scabber number 3 is clutching a necklace (perhaps a rosary?) As jack is trying to convince them to join the strike and his hands shake slightly.

Race almost immediately hugs crutchie tight when he comes back.

ahh yes!! scabber number 3 I believe is Tommy Boy, played by Jack Bromage. His character has a black cross on a necklace which is something he added himself to build his character - the whole cast were encouraged to do that. It's so cool that he's using it in his performance, it's the tiny details like that which really make it. The shaking hands - i cannot, all of this is so good!!

That's so cute! I love how affectionate the cast is, it really drives home the found family :)

not yet! but I'd like to learn someday. I don't know where the best places are in the UK for skipping rocks, where I am there are either spherical pebbles or massive chunks of flint lol

and then the evening was all that except michael was back on as jack so george was back on as morris so bromage was back on as tommy boy so mikey boy wasn't split anymore
